The Next President

We are five short days away from electing the next

President of the United States of America

and whomever that is will make HISTORY!!!

I myself have chosen my candidate carefully.

I've reviewed them both in areas of interest to me:

1. Education (that's numero uno for me)

2. the war (that really runs right alongside #1),

3. and the economy which is tagged with healthcare because if we got

the money we can make it happen!

I hope everyone I know took the time and picked apart both people and kept an open mind the whole time. I'm looking forward to NOVEMBER 4, 2008. My husband and I will be tired at work on November third because we will try and stay up every minute but will not last. I'll have an update of "our little election party". So with that being said now, go out and cast a vote for your candidate, speak your mind and push on to make this country the great country it has been in the past and can still be in the future.

Happy Voting!

The Big 3-0!

Though I am late with my birthday, Tim Crews was not. This truly was the best birthday I've ever had (with the exception of my 12th birthday when my momma surprised me with a party-that's another blog).

First things first...The Presents!

We or should I say I opened them early that morning because he wanted me too.

1. Kitchen Tongs (Good for Frying Chicken)

2. Cute Apron from Decade (Is there a theme here?)

3. Pocketbook from Indian Store around the corner.

4. Blowdryer (My old one sounded like it was going to eat us).

Next on the List:bum ba da bum

The Village Cork

Which consisted of Wine tastings along with a cheese plate.

Then we were on our way to see Anthony at RockBottom Brewery.

More wine and apps!

Then on Saturday, October 18, 2008 we went to:

The Celestial Seasonings Company in Boulder, Co. and hit the jackpot on a tent sale.
So, tea time anyone?

Joy

Last night, I cried myself to sleep to the thought of my Momma.

Oh, how I do miss her face.

I never have seen such beauty in another woman.

So, I guess that means I need to make a list of the things that made, no that make her

beautiful.

1. Her eyes-blue (I got mine right from the baby factory)

2. Her sandy blond hair

3. Her face (you could tell though times may have been hard she laughed alot)

4. Her laugh

5. Her love that she shared for her entire family (that's including 8 brothers and sisters)

6. The way she loved my sister and I

7. The way she played with her grandaughter

8. The way she called me her Baby

9. Her ability to be totally and completely honest with me

10. She told me she would love me no matter what I've done.

This list is so small compared to her beauty but I think this will open the door at least.

Mothers lovely as they seem can sometimes seem so mean.

But mine she is dear, but makes her point quite clear.

With hollerin' and spankin's she'll get the job done.

And finish up with a hug and whisper I love you honeybun.

Yes that's my Momma, Joy.
