One more step in the ladder

Soooo many many things to fill everyone in on, but I have to start somewhere. I recently got a promotion at work. I know, I was just as excited...well maybe a little more. The feeling you receive when you are noticed for the efforts you put forth, that alone is amazing. And that is not even all, you get to celebrate too! That very night Tim and I went to have Sushi at a cutie patootie place on South Broadway. But, but, but that did not happen until we took a look around Fancy Tiger. This one of my favorite shops only two small blocks from home. They sell clothing and BAGS and other pretty things. Well, after I found the bag pictured here... had to have it. I was looking and looking and then the generous guy behind the counter said, "do you like that bag? Because if you do, I'll give you 15% off." Done. Thank you Queen Bee Creations for helping mark this milestone in my life. http://www.queenbee-creations.com/

The Good Life

I haven't blogged in some time now and for that I am ashamed. A very dear friend of mine (she is a blogger) helped me to realize that life is too grand and too short not to share with others. Here we go:

Life has shown me many wonderful things lately, but I will have to spell them out one blog at a time. I will start at the beginning.

After much deliberation, Crews Control decided to park it in Denver for a bit longer and I have never been so sure of making the right decision in my life. The decision making process involved my mother quite a bit.

I know without a doubt that she wants me to live a full, no holds barred kinda life. I believe that she wants me to "she em' what I'm made of", if you will. Running to the past never changed anyone and I am firm believer in change (it is inevitable and it is good for the soul, keeps you on your toes).

So, basically I made a pact with myself that I'm not gonna stop living as long as I am living and I'm not gonna turn around. This decision made through clarity has already produced some crops, but I'll get to those in another blog. Today I am just glad that I am here.
