Hello Love

If you weren't aware, I am madly in love with my husband. Valentine's Day was a hit. I planned all day, cleaning, chilling champagne, preparing food and lighting candles. Tim was very excited when he walked in the door Saturday night. He found the table set and complete with flowers and candles. I then ran him a bubble bath and he said it was the best he has ever had. Then we had our first course, oysters with a mignonette sauce, with a glass of Champagne. Yummy! We talked about our day and the oysters (I was scared to work with them). Next I prepared the salad, this is a salad I stole from one of our friends, Ilir. Just a traditional Italian Salad and Tim's Favorite. Then I prepared the pasta with clams and we ate and drank pinot grigio. Finally we had a spicy hot chocolate (which was out of this world, if you haven't tried one-do it!) with pistachio chocolate covered strawberries. Really, what an evening. We talked all night long and even danced a few times in our living room to some jazz music. It was really sweet and beautiful. There is nothing more I love than gazing in his eyes...hmmm. And the next morning....
He took me to Devil's Food for brunch. Yummmm on the bacon, gruyere and carmelized onion omelette. Then he took me to the Denver Art Museum and we took in all we could. It's so amazing to me how someone else could know me better than I know myself. I love you, Tim and I can't wait until the next time I see you.
